LOS ANGELES (July 7, 2025) — Gloria Molina Grand Park, powered by The Music Center, pumps up its reputation as the summer destination for joy and celebration of house music with two Sundays of sun, sound and self-expression: July 20 and August 17, 2025. The Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions series will feature live DJs, who will take Angelenos of all ages on a retrospective music journey of the artists and styles that contributed to house music’s legacy, beginning with the soulful, sweaty dancefloors of Chicago’s 1970s underground scene. Collectively, the DJs and the partygoers will feel the beats and let their spirits soar as they groove, picnic, sip cocktails and hang out at the 21+ beer garden.
The July 20, 2025, edition of Sunday Sessions explodes with the sounds of soul, funk and disco, curated by L.A.-based Tijuana native DJ Maurice de La Falaise. KG Superstar takes the mic as the event host with live sets by Deejay Clifton, Liz-O and Loopdropkid.
The August 17, 2025, edition of Sunday Sessions will be curated by L.A.’s very own music brand Soul Source, featuring house music powerhouse DJs blksoap, Roy Davis Jr., Mark de Clive-Lowe, Mantron, Juliet Mendoza and Mr. Choc, who also serves as the event host.
While enjoying the park and the global grooves, guests can try their hand at tie-dyeing, transforming pre-loved garments into bold, wearable art. For a refreshing interlude, the park’s Splash Pad provides the perfect space to cool off and recharge for the next dance set.
