Community Unites to Create a Mini Forest in Los Angeles City Center

In an historic environmental milestone for DTLA, Gloria Molina Grand Park becomes the home of L.A.’s first Miyawaki Forest to grow in a fully urban setting. The future forest is designed to grow 10 times faster and 30 times denser than traditional planting; it will also restore biodiversity and capture carbon in the heart of the city.
