WHAT:
Applications are now open for Los Angeles County-based talent to perform in the 67th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration, sponsored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and presented by The Music Center. The televised production is a free holiday celebration that showcases local dance, music, vocal arts, musical theatre and circus arts.
WHO:
Los Angeles County-based performers interested in representing the talent, cultures, traditions and joy of communities across the region are encouraged to apply to participate in the show. Selected performers will receive an honorarium and will perform on stage at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion before a live audience.
PLEASE NOTE: This year, artists will be part of two public performances that will be pre-taped on Sunday, December 20, 2026, and will air on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24, 2026) on PBS SoCal and will be available on demand on holidaycelebration.org, pbssocal.org and the free PBS app.
WHEN:
The shows will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2026. Exact showtimes to be determined; the showtimes will be four hours apart between late morning and early evening.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Performing arts groups must be based in Los Angeles County.
- Performing arts groups must belong to one of the following categories: dance, music, vocal arts, musical theatre and/or circus arts.
- Performances must be suitable for an all-ages crowd.
- Group leader must be 18 or over.
HOW TO APPLY:

Applicants will be required to submit a video (three minutes maximum) of a live performance that will allow reviewers to clearly see and hear the group’s work. The video must:
- Depict a continuous performance (no edited pieces or montages) and
- Be a recent recording within the past three years.
If applicants do not have a performance recording at this time, they may start the application and submit the full application, with the video, any time before the deadline.
